Turned parts, or general rotationally symmetric parts are positioned and fixated using tailstocks, V-blocks with spring clamps, prism supports and 3 jaw chucks from the dk FIXIERSYSTEME standard range. With these, optimum visibility and consequently exemplary measurability of the workpiece are achieved, in most cases with just one reproducible clamping process. As can be seen from the example in the video, the tailstock and V-block can be flexibly and infinitely positioned on the toothed rail angle relevant to the component length. By simply exchanging the centres, parts that do not have a centre hole can be quickly and easily held. The entire length of a component can be measured through the slit in the hollow centre. With the prism, that can be mounted in various positions on the prism holder, small round parts can be very flexibly held.
